Tefilah Gidolah תפילה גדולה Big Prayer
Shalom,Our prayer time scheduled for Sept 6 & 7th, from 6pm Friday to 6pm Saturday, will mark the fourth quarterly scheduled prayer for the year. We have been praying for our leaders, our congregation and our ministries and outreach opportunities for an entire year. We don't believe that it is "accidental" that this upcoming prayer coincides with the Jewish holidays and so many events we will be having at Beth Sar. And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything. I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity he will surely get up and give you as much as you need. Luke 11:5-8
Please join us at any time. Room #10 behind the
sanctuary, will be open through the night. There will be people from the
congregation on site for the 24 hours, so feel free to join us at any
time. Bring a pillow if you like. Catnaps are allowed. Our
goal is to keep the prayer going through the night. We will end with a
celebration on Saturday afternoon.
