CELEBRATING SUKKOT ( The Feast of Boots) October 6, 2017

Nehemiah 8: 16 & 17 16 So the people went out and brought back branches and built themselves temporary shelters on their own roofs, in their courtyards, in the courts of the house of God and in the square by the Water Gate and the one by the Gate of Ephraim. 17 The whole company that had returned from exile built temporary shelters and lived in them. From the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day, the Israelites had not celebrated it like this. And their joy was very great. Oh, how our joy was great! We set up tents and barbecue’d meat(Kabobo and Steak) and Chicken and had lots of salads and sides and cakes and other desert. The people came, from Room 24 and from Desert Stream Fellowship, from Ironwood Hills and from Beth Sar Shalom, from the Tucson Arabic Church and from Igelesia La Gracia De Dios. They came from Mexico and from Nogales and from Rio Rico and Green Valley, from Sierra Vista and from all over Tucson. Their heritages were American and Jewish believers, Hispanic believers, and from Egypt and Iran, from Iraq and Palestine. We sang in English and Hebrew and Arabic and Spanish. We had lots of children, God’s Promise of another generation to call on His Name. We were so filled with joy! Psalm 126:3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Thank you Lord for a night full of blessing. And thank you for Your Presence!
